Yield 3-4 people

Number Of Ingredients 5

4 Ripe Bananas
Flour for dredging
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons sugar plus more for serving
Fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Peel bananas and cut once crosswise and once lengthwise, so each banana is cut into four pieces. Heat the butter in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Dredge the bananas in flour, shaking off excess. Wait for butter foam to subside, then add bananas to skillet. Cook, turning frequently, until golden-about 10 minutes. Add sugar, then cook for 1 more minute. Serve with sugar and lemon juice.
