Shallot- Butter Sauce for Seafood BBQ image

This sauce is wonderful for BBQ oysters. Just slip some into the oyster when the shell pops open. Myself, I nearly always add garlic but it is a lovely subtle sauce even without my friend Ms Garlic. There is enough sauce for 4 servings of seafood

Overall, I thought this sauce was just okay. It was easy to make, but it didn't have much flavor.

This sauce is not my favorite. It's a bit too rich and heavy for my taste. I prefer a lighter sauce with more acidity.

I'm not sure what I did wrong, but my sauce didn't turn out right. It was too salty and the shallots were too crunchy.

This sauce is a great make-ahead option. I like to make a big batch and then freeze it in small containers. That way, I always have it on hand when I need it.

I'm not a huge fan of butter, but I really liked this sauce. The shallots and herbs balance out the butteriness perfectly.

This sauce is a great way to use up leftover shallots. I always have a few shallots lying around, so this is a great way to use them up.

I followed the recipe exactly, but my sauce didn't turn out right. It was too thick and curdled.

This sauce is a bit too rich for my taste, but it's still very good. I would recommend using a light hand with the butter.
