Time 40m

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 c butter or shortening (i prefer butter)
1-1/2 c sugar

1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon

Steps:

  • 1. Mix together butter (shortening), sugar, vanilla and eggs.
  • 2. Put flour, cream of tarter, baking soda & salt together and add to the above cream mixture. Let dough sit in refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  • 3. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar on a flat pie pan or quiche dish. Take cookie dough from refrigerator and make into teaspoon size balls. Roll the balls in the cinnamon & sugar mixture and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.

These snickerdoodles were delicious! I used a cookie scoop to make them all the same size, and they baked evenly. The cinnamon sugar coating was the perfect amount of sweetness.

I've never made snickerdoodles before, but these were so easy to make and they turned out perfectly! I'll definitely be making them again.

These snickerdoodles were a bit dry and crumbly. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but they didn't turn out as I expected.

These snickerdoodles are the best! They're so soft and chewy, and the cinnamon sugar coating is the perfect touch. I've made them several times now, and they're always a hit with my family and friends.
