Time 30m

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 c speculoos cookie butter
2 Tbsp butter, softened
2 c confectioners' sugar
1 pkg white chocolate candiquik

Steps:

  • 1. Place the cookie butter, butter and confectioners' sugar in a large bowl. Mix with your hands until a nice smooth texture is formed.
  • 2. Place some waxed paper on your table. Take some of the cookie butter mixture and form into small balls. Lay each ball on the waxed paper. Let stand for about 10 minutes to firm.
  • 3. Take the candiquik, break into squares, and place in a microwave safe dish. Microwave for 2 minutes. remove dish and stir. Keep microwaving for 20 seconds and stirring until the white chocolate has melted.
  • 4. Either using a toothpick or a spoon (I do better with a spoon), place each ball in the white chocolate and let excess white chocolate drip back into bowl before placing the ball back onto the waxed paper. When the white chocolate has set, you can put the snowballs into an air tight container and put into refrigerator until ready to serve.

I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my cookies turned out really dry. I'm not sure I'd make these again.

These cookies are a pain to make. The dough is very sticky and the cookies fall apart easily. I won't be making these again.

I've made these cookies for years and they're always a hit at my holiday parties. I've never dipped them in chocolate before though. What a great idea!

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by 'room temperature' butter. How long do you let the butter sit out?

If you don't have white chocolate, you can use regular chocolate. Just melt it in a double boiler or in the microwave.

My kids love helping me make these. This year they decided to dip some in chocolate and some in colored sprinkles. Whatever they don't eat today will go into the Christmas Eve snack mix.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'sifted' powdered sugar. Can you explain?

I love that this recipe uses white chocolate instead of regular chocolate. It gives the cookies a much smoother and creamier texture.

I've never tried making white chocolate snowballs before. Can you recommend any other variations to try?

These have become my go to holiday treat, I make them every year!

The key is making sure that the cookies are completely chilled before you dip them in chocolate. This will help them set properly.

These cookies are a little crumbly but that is what is so amazing about them!!

I've made this recipe for snowball cookies many times, but I've never tried the butter ball variation. What is the main difference? I'm excited to try it.

This recipe brings me back to my childhood. I remember my mom making these for me and my siblings during the holidays.
