Spicy Fruit Salsa image

Yield Makes about 2 cups

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 mango, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch dice
1 papaya, peeled, seeded, and cut into 1/2-inch dice
1 pint strawberries, hulled and quartered
2 tablespoons sugar
1 red serrano or jalapeño chili, seeded and minced (wear rubber gloves)
2 tablespoons minced fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • In a bowl stir together the mango, the papaya, the strawberries, the sugar, and the chili, let the mixture stand for 10 minutes, and stir in the mint. Serve the salsa with grilled chicken or fish.
