Steps:
- Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, beat in egg yolks. Add cream, mix well. Divide mix and spread evenly in 2 pans. Beat egg whites til stiff, gradually add sugar while beating, add flavoring. Divide and spread evenly over batter Bake in preheated 300 oven for 30-35 minutes. Let cool in pans. Run sharp knife around edge, and remove wax paper from pan. Place one cake meringue side down on serving plate. See above for filling. Place top layer meringue side up. Serve with mixed berries and whipped cream.
