- soak the husks in hot water with a weight on top for at least 12 hrs beat butter with brown sugar real well in a bowl put the masa-harina, brake in pieces, add the butter mixture, baking powder, cinnamon,beat well aide with the hot apple cidder,then add fruits and nuts, mix well drain the husks well with a spoon, add some masa at the center, fold in the middle, then fold half up and sit it up in a steamer should be arround 60 small tamales cook for 1 hr in a steamer when it is cooked, and the husk is not attached to the masa it is ready! then serve inmediately hot or if you are going to frezze it, leave in a tray to cool, then bag it serve reheated in a steamer or toasted on a grill over the stove
