Sweet Sausage Rolls image

Refrigerated dough makes these appetizers a snap to prepare. Sausage gives them a little smoky heat, while honey and brown sugar lend a touch of sweetness. It all adds up to a finger food that's downright addicting! -Lori Cabuno, Canfield, Ohio

I would make these sausage rolls again, but I would make a few changes to the recipe. I would add a little more salt to the filling and I would brush the pastry with an egg wash before baking.

I found the recipe to be a bit confusing. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but my sausage rolls didn't turn out as flaky as I expected.

The sausage rolls were a bit dry for my taste. I think I'll try adding a little more butter to the pastry next time.

These sausage rolls were a big hit at my party! They were easy to make and turned out perfectly golden brown and flaky. The filling was flavorful and moist, with just the right amount of sweetness from the apples.
