Categories     Brunch     Bake

Number Of Ingredients 5

2 pounds frozen hash browns (I prefer the "shredded" style but cubes work)
1 pint of Whipping Cream OR 1 pint Half and Half
2 cups of Swiss cheese, grated
1/2 cup of butter, melted
salt, pepper and paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place hash browns in a 9x13 inch pan sprayed with PAM. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with the cheese. Pour butter on top and sprinkle with paprika. Pour pint of whipping cream (or Half and Half) over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. A crowd favorite!

These hash browns were a bit too greasy for my taste. I think I'll use less butter next time.

I'm not a big fan of hash browns, but these were actually pretty good. The Swiss cheese and onions added a nice touch of flavor.

I was really excited to try this recipe, but I was disappointed with the results. The hash browns were soggy and the cheese didn't melt evenly.
