Yield 1 serving

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 6oz can chunk light tuna in water
2-3 tbsp Miracle Whip salad dressing
3 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1/4 cup of finely chopped red onions ( can be omitted if alergic)
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp blk pepper
1 tsp prepared mustard
1/2 tsp celery seed
3 tbsp chunky salsa ( spicy or mild to suit taste)

Steps:

  • Drain and put tuna in a small mixing bowl. Add all the ingredients except the salsa. mix and taste. Adjust to personal likes. When tuna is mixed to taste, add salsa and mix well. Serve with tortilla chips, corn chips, toast or my personal favorite salt and cracked pepper potato chips. If you want to serve this as a main dish just increase the ingredients to accomodate the number of people you will be serving. You can serve it on lettuce or plain, it is delicious either way. A variation on this recipe is to make tostados with soft tortillas and melt your favorite cheese over the top. Just add a tall glass of frosty iced tea or lemonade to make this meal complete. You can't miss with this one. I consider this one singles friendly.

Easy to make and delicious! I used canned tuna, but I think it would be even better with fresh tuna. I also added some chopped red onion for extra flavor.
