Vinegar Cookies image

My cousin Gail, in Downsville, LA, gave me this recipe. Her bridge club begs for them. These delicate cookies are so delicious!

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 stick parkay margarine (i use butter!)
1 c sugar
1 1/2 c all purpose flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp distilled vinegar
2 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped pecans

Steps:

  • 1. Beat together butter and sugar. Every time the recipe says to beat, REALLY beat!
  • 2. Sift together flour, soda, and salt; and add to the butter mixture.
  • 3. Add vinegar and vanilla. Beat!
  • 4. Add chopped pecans.
  • 5. Drop by teaspoons on buttered cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
