Wacky Banana Cake image

What makes this cake so "wacky"? You mix it right in the pan, no need to get a bowl dirty. Also, there are no eggs in this cake. Wacky right!? 3 c flour
1 1/2 c sugar
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
4 ripe,mashed bananas
1 1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 c cold water
2 Tbsp white vinegar
1 c mini chocolate chips
1/2 c toffee chips such as hershey's heath toffee chips

Steps:

  • 1. In an ungreased 9 X 13 pan stir together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  • 2. Add the bananas, melted butter, cold water and vinegar. Stir just until combined.
  • 3. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips evenly over the top of the cake.
  • 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick insterted in the center comes out clean.
  • 5. Sprinkle the hot cake with the toffee chips. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into squares to serve.
