ZEHNDER'S CRANBERRY RELISH image

1 pound apples (Northern Spy is best, substitute with Pippin or Granny Smith if needed)
1 pound dark red cranberries
2 navel oranges
2 cups sugar (reduce if desired)

Steps:

  • Blender Large mixing bowl Spatula Freeze the cranberries overnight. Wash and core the apples, set aside. Peel and chop the oranges in the blender, add to the large mixing bowl when done. Chop up about a third of the frozen cranberries in the blender at a time, adding them to the large mixing bowl as you go to ensure that they're chopped up evenly. Chop up about half the apples in the blender at a time, add them to the large mixing bowl when finished. Pour the sugar into the large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients well. Chill before serving.
