85 g butter
55 g icing sugar
1 egg yolk
3 drops vanilla
85 g flour
90 g arrowroot

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 175 degrees centigrade.
  • Grease a biscuit tray
  • Cream the butter and icing sugar well, add egg yolk and vanilla.
  • Mix in the sifted flour and arrowroot.
  • Turn out onto a floured board and knead lightly.
  • Roll out and cut into rounds.
  • Place on greased tray and bake in preheated 175 degrees Celsius oven for 20 minutes.
