Steps:
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Set aside to drain and cool to room temperature.
- Spread the beans into the bottom of a 9x13 inch serving tray that is about 1 1/2 inches deep. Sprinkle 2 cups of shredded cheese on top of beans. Sprinkle beef on top of cheese. Spread sour cream very slowly on top of beef. Spread guacamole on top of sour cream. Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining shredded cheese. Sprinkle black olives, tomatoes, and green onions on top.
- You can serve this dish immediately, or refrigerate it over night and serve cold. I think it tastes better at room temperature.

I got this recipe from Hidden Valley recipe pamphlet years ago. A friend and I used to take turns making dinner for our husbands at the shop. This is one of those things that wouldn't last but a few minutes when we fed them Mexican dishes.

Tips:
- Choose the right ingredients: Use fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Look for ripe avocados, fresh cilantro, and a good quality salsa.
- Layer the dip carefully: Each layer should be distinct and evenly spread. Use a spatula to smooth out each layer and create a clean, professional look.
- Chill the dip before serving: This will help the flavors meld and make the dip easier to scoop. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight.
- Serve with a variety of dippers: Tortilla chips are the classic choice, but you can also serve the dip with pita chips, crackers, or vegetable crudités.
- Garnish with fresh herbs: Cilantro, parsley, or chives add a pop of color and flavor to the dip. Garnish the dip just before serving.
