Number Of Ingredients 6

100g/4oz Digestive Biscuit
225g/9oz Chocolate (White, Milk Or Dark Chocolate)
1 tbsp Milk
50g/2oz Butter
50g/2oz Icing Sugar
Cocoa Powder/Hot Chocolate Powder To Roll The Truffles In(can also use nuts, coconut or sprinkles)

  • Leave to chill for 30 minutes.
  • Take a teaspoon full of truffle mixture and roll either in your hands or onto a chopping board until round.
  • Roll in the your choice of coating. For best results put back in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate. The better the chocolate, the better the truffles will taste. Look for chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Temper the chocolate. This is an important step that helps to stabilize the chocolate and give it a smooth, shiny finish. You can temper chocolate in a microwave or over a double boiler.
  • Be patient. Making truffles takes time and patience. Don't rush the process or you'll end up with subpar results.
  • Get creative. There are endless possibilities when it comes to making truffles. You can use different types of chocolate, fillings, and toppings. Get creative and have fun!
