ALMOND BUTTER COOKIES WITH FROSTING
Easy to make almond-butter cookies, frosting optional. The flavor is delicate and very yummy. I am a novice in the kitchen and made these one night in about 30 min on a whim. The frosting hardens quickly, but it's easy to add water and microwave 15-30 seconds to soften it up again for spreading. I found this recipe on the back of the Publix sweet cream butter (unsalted) package; the credits on the package are "Publix Apron's Simple Meals"

Tips:
- For the best results, use almond butter that is freshly made or at least very smooth.
- If you don't have almond butter, you can make your own by blending almonds in a food processor until they are smooth and creamy.
- Be careful not to overmix the dough, as this will make the cookies tough.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking, as this will help the cookies hold their shape.
- Bake the cookies until they are just golden brown around the edges, as overbaking will dry them out.
- Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them, as this will help the frosting set properly.
Conclusion:
These almond butter cookies with frosting are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are soft and chewy, with a rich almond flavor. The frosting adds a sweet and creamy touch that takes these cookies to the next level. Whether you are baking them for a party or just to enjoy as a snack, these cookies are sure to be a hit.
