Categories     Food & Cooking     Breakfast & Brunch Recipes

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 apples, halved and cored
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup raisins
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Core and halve 2 apples, top with these ingredients, and bake at 350 degrees until tender, 30 minutes. If apples get too brown, tent with foil.

Tips for Baking Perfect Apple Raisin Walnut Muffins:

  • Use fresh, crisp apples: Granny Smith apples are a popular choice for baking, but you can use any variety that you like. Just be sure that the apples are firm and not too soft.
  • Chop the apples into small pieces: This will help them to distribute evenly throughout the muffins and prevent them from sinking to the bottom.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in tough muffins. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full: This will allow the muffins to rise properly without overflowing.
  • Bake the muffins at a high temperature for a short period of time: This will help to create a crispy crust and a moist interior.
  • Let the muffins cool completely before serving: This will allow the flavors to develop and the muffins to set properly.

Conclusion:

Apple raisin walnut muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. With their moist texture, sweet flavor, and crunchy walnuts, these muffins are sure to be a hit with everyone. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy baking project, give these apple raisin walnut muffins a try. You won't be disappointed!
