Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the bikkies will be. Use real butter, full-cream milk, and sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing will make the bikkies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough will help the bikkies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the bikkies at a high temperature: A high temperature will help the bikkies crisp up and brown nicely.
  • Don't overbake the bikkies: Overbaking will make the bikkies dry and crumbly. Bake them just until they are golden brown.
  • Let the bikkies cool completely before storing them: This will help them to crisp up and firm up.

Conclusion:

These Aussie bikkies are a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for any occasion. They are crispy, cheesy, and oniony, and they are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you are looking for a tasty treat, give these bikkies a try!
