Tips:

  • Choose flavorful chicken. Use bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs or breasts for the most flavorful results.
  • Don't overcook the chicken. Bake the chicken until it is cooked through, but still moist. Overcooked chicken will be dry and tough.
  • Make sure the filling is cool before assembling the flautas. This will help prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy.
  • Use a damp paper towel to keep the tortillas pliable. This will help prevent them from cracking when you roll them up.
  • Fry the flautas in batches. Don't overcrowd the pan, or the flautas will not cook evenly.
  • Serve the flautas immediately with your favorite toppings. They are best when served hot and crispy.

Conclusion:

Baked Chipotle Chicken Flautas are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are perfect for parties or potlucks, and they can be made ahead of time. With a few simple ingredients and a little bit of time, you can enjoy this tasty Mexican dish at home.
