Provided by á-6419

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 lb fresh shrimp, cleaned
3/4 lb small scallops
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tbs marsala wine
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated cheese
salt, pepper, paprika

Melt remaining butter, mix with bread crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle over top of mixture, add paprika. Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes.

Tips:

  • Prep Your Ingredients: Before you start cooking, make sure all your ingredients are prepped and measured. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling during the cooking process.
  • Use Fresh Seafood: For the best flavor, use fresh, high-quality seafood. If you can't find fresh seafood, frozen seafood is a good option, but make sure to thaw it thoroughly before cooking.
  • Don't Overcook the Seafood: Seafood cooks quickly, so be careful not to overcook it. Overcooked seafood will be tough and rubbery.
  • Use a Hot Pan: When searing the seafood, make sure the pan is hot before you add the seafood. This will help to create a nice sear and prevent the seafood from sticking to the pan.
  • Use a Combination of Cooking Methods: To get the best results, use a combination of cooking methods. For example, you can sear the seafood in a pan and then finish it in the oven.
  • Season Generously: Don't be afraid to season the seafood generously. Use a variety of herbs and spices to create a flavorful dish.
  • Serve with a Simple Sauce: A simple sauce can help to enhance the flavor of the seafood. Try serving the seafood with a lemon butter sauce, a white wine sauce, or a pesto sauce.

Conclusion:

Baked scallops and shrimp is a delicious and elegant dish that is perfect for a special occasion. With its tender seafood, creamy sauce, and crispy breadcrumbs, this dish is sure to impress your guests.
