Tips:

  • To ensure the cookies are soft and chewy, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will create air pockets in the batter, resulting in a soft and chewy texture.
  • Use ripe bananas for the best flavor. The riper the bananas, the sweeter they will be, resulting in more flavorful cookies.
  • Chill the cookie dough before baking. This will help the cookies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set. Overbaking will result in dry, crumbly cookies.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before topping them with the banana split toppings. This will help prevent the toppings from melting and running off the cookies.

Conclusion:

Banana split cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With their soft and chewy texture, sweet banana flavor, and colorful toppings, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone. Whether you are looking for a fun dessert to make with the kids or a sweet treat to bring to a party, banana split cookies are the perfect choice. So next time you have a craving for something sweet, give these cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
