Tips:

  • Use good quality chocolate: The quality of the chocolate you use will directly affect the flavor of your pixies. Look for chocolate that is at least 70% cacao and has a rich, smooth flavor.
  • Toast the walnuts: Toasting the walnuts brings out their nutty flavor and makes them more fragrant. You can toast them in a skillet over medium heat or in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the pixies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough before baking will help the pixies hold their shape and prevent them from spreading too much.
  • Bake the pixies until they are just set: The pixies should be baked until they are just set in the center. Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

Black walnut chocolate pixies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with simple ingredients and can be customized to your liking. With a few simple tips, you can make perfect pixies every time.
