- Combine all the ingredients except the bacon in slow cooker & stir.
- Cover & cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 3-5 hours. Stir every 30-60 minutes.
- About 20 minutes before serving add the cooked bacon crumbles.
- NOTE - if they start getting a little dry or pasty you can add a little more water to thin it out. But this is a sign that they have cooked for too long & you want to serve soon.
