CAULIFLOWER PANKO PAKORAS (BREADED AND BAKED/FRIED)
I found the original recipe on another site with half the spices and reviewers said it was too bland so I'm posting it here to try myself with a little more punch. I also want to try mixing some coconut milk into the batter and frying in peanut oil. If it's worth posting I'll add it but if someone else has an opinion there first I'd love to hear it. :)

Steps:
- 1. Cut cauliflower into medium pieces and steam partially through. Mix eggs and milk. Beat slightly. In seperate bowl mix bread crumbs, cheese and salt. Coat cauliflower in egg mixture, then in bread crumb mixture. Fry turning each piece.
Tips:
- Choose the right cauliflower: Select a cauliflower head that is firm and compact, with tightly closed florets. Avoid heads with any signs of bruising or discoloration.
- Cut the cauliflower into uniform florets: This will help ensure that they cook evenly. Cut the cauliflower into 1-inch florets and remove any tough stems.
- Blanch the cauliflower florets: This step helps to tenderize the cauliflower and reduce its cooking time. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the florets are tender but still slightly firm. Drain the cauliflower and rinse it with cold water.
- Make sure the breading mixture is well-seasoned: The breading mixture is what gives the cauliflower its flavor, so make sure it is well-seasoned. Use a combination of spices, herbs, and grated cheese to create a flavorful breading mixture.
- Coat the cauliflower florets evenly in the breading mixture: Make sure each cauliflower floret is evenly coated in the breading mixture. This will help ensure that the cauliflower is cooked evenly and has a crispy coating.
- Fry the cauliflower florets in hot oil: Heat a large pot or Dutch oven of oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Carefully add the cauliflower florets to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain the cauliflower florets on paper towels to remove any excess oil.
Conclusion:
Breaded and fried cauliflower is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served as an appetizer, side dish, or main course. It is a great way to use up leftover cauliflower and is also a healthy alternative to other fried foods. With its crispy coating and tender interior, breaded and fried cauliflower is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
