1/2 cup cranberries
1 tablespoon raw sugar

Nutrition Facts : Calories 82 g, Fiber 3 g, Protein 1 g, Sodium 2 g

Tips:

  • Select the Right Citrus: Use a variety of citrus fruits for a vibrant and complex flavor profile. Grapefruits, oranges, lemons, and limes are all great options.
  • Use Fresh Herbs: Fresh herbs like mint, basil, or thyme add a refreshing touch to the salad. Chop them finely and sprinkle them on top just before serving.
  • Don't Overcook the Citrus: Broiling the citrus for too long can make it bitter. Keep a close eye on it and remove it from the oven as soon as it starts to caramelize.
  • Use a Good Quality Cointreau: Cointreau is an orange-flavored liqueur that adds a delicious depth of flavor to the salad. Choose a good quality brand for the best results.
  • Serve Immediately: This salad is best enjoyed immediately after it's made. The citrus segments will start to release their juices and the salad will become watery if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

This Broiled Citrus Salad with Cointreau and Brown Sugar is a delightful and refreshing dish that's perfect for any occasion. The combination of sweet, sour, and bitter flavors is sure to please everyone at the table. Plus, it's easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a healthy and flavorful salad, give this one a try.
