BUFFALO CHEX MIX

Buffalo Chex Mix image

This is a variation on the original Chex mix based on Buffalo chicken wing sauce. I got it from a newspaper coupon. Very easy and delicious - a bit spicy! Add more or less hot sauce to your liking. Would be great served with ranch or bleu cheese dressing for dipping.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: Stale or old ingredients can make your Chex mix taste bland, so make sure to use fresh ingredients whenever possible.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When baking the Chex mix, make sure not to overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the Chex mix from getting crispy and could make it soggy.
  • Use a variety of spices: To give your Chex mix a flavorful kick, use a variety of spices. Some popular spices to use include chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  • Add some heat: If you like spicy food, you can add some heat to your Chex mix by adding cayenne pepper or hot sauce.
  • Don't overbake the Chex mix: Overbaking the Chex mix will make it hard and crunchy. Bake it just until it is golden brown and crispy.
  • Let the Chex mix cool completely: Once the Chex mix is baked, let it cool completely before serving. This will help the flavors to meld together and will make the Chex mix easier to eat.

Conclusion:

Buffalo Chex mix is a delicious and easy-to-make snack that is perfect for parties, potlucks, and game days.
