After several attempts at making a Cajun themed meal, I came up with this spicy marinade for chicken breasts. The flavors blend perfectly with chicken with just enough heat that isn't over-powering.

1/2 tablespoon ground thyme
1/2 tablespoon onion powder
1/2 tablespoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper

1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

2 boneless chicken breasts

Steps:

  • Grill on a lightly oiled rack for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping and basting every 10 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use fresh, high-quality ingredients. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your dish.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices and herbs. Cajun food is all about bold flavors, so don't be shy about adding a little bit of spice to your dish. Experiment with your personal taste to find the perfect blend of flavors.
  • Cook the chicken and potatoes thoroughly. Chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, and potatoes should be cooked until they are tender.
