Tips

- For fluffy rice, rinse the rice thoroughly before cooking to remove excess starch. - Use a good quality long-grain rice for best results. - Be sure to measure the rice and water accurately. Too much water will make the rice mushy, while too little water will make it hard and dry. - Add a little salt to the water before cooking to enhance the flavor of the rice. - If you like, you can add a tablespoon of butter or oil to the rice cooker along with the rice and water. This will help to prevent the rice from sticking to the pot. - Do not open the lid of the rice cooker while the rice is cooking. This will let the steam escape and cause the rice to cook unevenly. - Once the rice is cooked, let it sit for a few minutes before fluffing it with a fork. This will help to prevent the rice from becoming sticky.
