MANGO MARGARITA

Mango Margarita image

This is my favorite flavored margarita. It is a beautiful color and really is quite delicious. This uses mango nectar not watered down mango juice - you can find it in your Hispanic section of the grocery store if it is not in the juice section. We drink them all the time during the summer. Use the best quality tequila you can afford.... you will thank me later.

MANGO-MINT MARGARITAS

Mango-Mint Margaritas image

The mango base can be made the night before. Pulse in the mint before serving.

Provided by Martha Stewart

Categories     Food & Cooking     Drink Recipes     Cocktail Recipes

Time 15m

Number Of Ingredients 6

3 mangoes, peeled, pitted, and chopped (4 cups), plus very thin unpeeled mango slices for serving
2 cups silver tequila
1 1/2 cups fresh lime juice (from 12 limes)
3/4 cup sugar
2/3 cup packed fresh mint leaves
24 ounces club soda or seltzer

Steps:

  • Working in batches, puree chopped mangoes, tequila, lime juice, and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  • Just before serving, pulse in mint just until finely chopped. Stir in club soda. Serve over ice, garnished with mango slices.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients. Fresh mangoes, limes, and mint will give your margaritas the best flavor.
  • Chill your glasses and ingredients. This will help your margaritas stay cold and refreshing.
  • Use a good quality champagne. A cheap champagne will make your margaritas taste flat and watery.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment. You can add other fruits, herbs, or spices to your margaritas to create your unique flavor combinations.
  • Serve your margaritas immediately. Margaritas are best enjoyed fresh, so don't let them sit around for too long.

Conclusion:

Champagne mango margaritas are a delicious and refreshing twist on the classic margarita. They're perfect for any occasion, from a casual get-together to a special celebration. So next time you're looking for a delicious and festive cocktail, give champagne mango margaritas a try!
