Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 9

8 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 can(s) sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 can(s) cherry pie filling
1/2 c pineapple tidbits, drained
1/2 c mandarin oranges, drained
1/2 c finely chopped pecans
8 oz non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
cherries for garnish

Steps:

  • 1. Using an electric mixer, combine cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice until smooth.
  • 2. Using a spatula, gently fold in remaining ingredients.
  • 3. Garnish with cherries or as desired. Chill for at least an hour or until serving time (it will thicken as it chills).

Tips:

  • For the most flavorful cherry salad fluff, use fresh cherries. If fresh cherries are not available, use frozen cherries that have been thawed and drained.
  • To make the salad fluff ahead of time, prepare it up to 24 hours in advance and store it in the refrigerator. When you're ready to serve, let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes before serving.
  • If you don't have any Cool Whip on hand, use a combination of whipped cream and cream cheese. To make whipped cream, beat 1 cup of heavy cream with 1/4 cup of sugar until stiff peaks form. To make cream cheese frosting, beat 8 ounces of cream cheese with 1/2 cup of sugar until smooth and creamy.
  • For a more festive presentation, garnish the salad fluff with additional cherries, whipped cream, or chopped nuts.
  • Cherry salad fluff is a versatile dish that can be served as a dessert, a side dish, or even a breakfast casserole. Enjoy it your way!

Conclusion:

Cherry salad fluff is a light and refreshing dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, and it's always a crowd-pleaser. With its sweet and tangy flavor, cherry salad fluff is a surefire hit that everyone will love.
