  • Use high-quality ingredients. Always start with the freshest and best-quality ingredients you have available. Whether that's choosing organic, sustainably-farmed chili sauce or opting for free-range, grass-fed ground beef, using the best ingredients will elevate the final dish.
  • Don't overwork the meatloaf. Overworking the meatloaf can make it tough and dense. Be gentle when mixing the ingredients together and avoid overpacking the loaf into the baking dish.
  • Use a variety of textures. A combination of ground beef, cooked rice, and vegetables gives this meatloaf a variety of textures that make it interesting to eat. Feel free to experiment with different combinations of ingredients to create your own unique meatloaf recipe.
  • Let the meatloaf rest before slicing. Allowing the meatloaf to rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing helps the juices redistribute throughout the loaf, resulting in a more tender and flavorful dish.
  • Serve with your favorite sides. Chili sauce meatloaf pairs well with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad. Experiment with different sides to find your favorite combinations.
