Time 40m

Yield 10 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 8

3 tablespoons peanut butter
3/4 ounce quick-cooking oats
2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons water
1 1/2 teaspoons water
3 teaspoons sugar
1/3 cup non-fat powdered milk (or soy milk powder)

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine all ingredients and mix well.
  • Place mixture on wax paper and shape into a log.
  • Roll up wax paper and chill in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate: The better the chocolate, the better the log will taste. Look for a chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
  • Make sure the peanut butter is smooth and creamy: If the peanut butter is too chunky, it will be difficult to spread evenly on the chocolate.
  • Chill the log well before slicing: This will help it hold its shape and make it easier to cut.
  • Use a sharp knife to slice the log: This will help prevent the log from crumbling.
  • Serve the log with your favorite toppings: Such as whipped cream, ice cream, or fresh berries.

Conclusion:

Chocolate peanut butter log is a classic dessert that is easy to make and always a hit with guests. With its rich chocolate flavor and creamy peanut butter filling, it's the perfect treat for any occasion. So next time you're looking for a delicious and easy dessert, give chocolate peanut butter log a try. You won't be disappointed!
