CHOCOLATE CARAMEL TRAY-BAKE SLICE
This slice is NOT for the diet concious! Very rich and very yummy and did I mention very easy! You can substitute chocolate for a different kind, but if you use a chocolate with a creamy filling freeze the chocolate for an hour before using.

CHOCOLATE TRAY BAKE
This is from my cookbook, titled "Chocolate" I have not tried it. (see edit below)I love the simple ingredients and easy instructions. Serve this warm with cream for dessert. it also can be frozen for about 2 months, just thaw at room temperature. Hope you enjoy! Edited to say that I have now cooked this cake. It is not a real sweet cake. The texture is a little denser than regular cake mix cake. It was delicious slightly warm with confectioners sugar dusted on top with a glass of milk! I believe it would be just the thing after a heavy meal or as a snack.

- Use Good Quality Chocolate: The quality of your chocolate will greatly impact the flavor of your tray bake. Opt for high-quality chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 70%.
- Don't Overmix: Overmixing the batter can result in a tough, dense tray bake. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Bake at the Right Temperature: The temperature of your oven will also affect the texture of your tray bake. Bake at the temperature specified in the recipe to ensure a perfect bake.
- Let it Cool: Allow your tray bake to cool completely before cutting into it. This will help prevent it from falling apart.
