Tips
- Proper measurements: Using a kitchen scale to measure ingredients, especially dry ones, ensures accuracy and consistent results.
- Quality ingredients: Opt for high-quality ingredients, such as natural almond butter and unsweetened coconut flour, to enhance the flavor and texture of the cookies.
- Chilling the dough: Chilling the dough for at least 1 hour helps firm it up, making it easier to handle and resulting in a chewier cookie.
- Forming the cookies: Use a small cookie scoop or a spoon to form even-sized balls of dough. Rolling them in your hands helps create a smooth surface.
- Baking: Bake the cookies at the specified temperature and time, keeping an eye on them to prevent overbaking. The edges should be golden brown, and the centers should be set but still slightly soft.
- Storing: Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before transferring them to an airtight container. Properly stored, they can last for up to a week at room temperature or be frozen for longer storage.
