2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 pound ground chicken or turkey
3 1/2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 carrots, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
2 plum tomatoes, chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
freshly ground black pepper
1 can (about 15 ounces) great northern beans, rinsed and drained

Steps:

  • 1 Set KitchenAid® Multi-Cooker to Soup setting. Add olive oil; heat on Soup/Step 1. Add onion; cook 1 to 2 minutes or until translucent, stirring frequently.
