PEANUT BUTTER CORNFLAKE BARS

Peanut Butter Cornflake Bars image

Peanut butter cornflake bars were one of my favorite treats when I was a little girl. If you like chocolate, I have a friend who spreads 1 cup of melted chocolate chips over the top. Let the chocolate set before cutting into the bars. -Laura Campbell, Lisbon, Maine

  • Press the batter firmly into the pan: This will help the squares hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.
  • Bake the squares until they are golden brown: This will ensure that they are cooked through and have a crispy texture.
  • Let the squares cool completely before cutting them: This will help them hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.
