  • 6. Mix 2 tablespoons of melted butter with bread crumbs and sprinkle over top.
  • 7. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
  • 8. NOTE: This is a good dish to use imitation crabmeat, if you would prefer. Also does nicely in individual casseroles.

Tips

  • Choose fresh crab meat. Fresh crab meat has a sweet, delicate flavor that is perfect for this casserole. Avoid using imitation crab meat, as it will not have the same flavor or texture.
  • Use a variety of cheeses. This recipe calls for a combination of cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. You can also use other types of cheese, such as Gruyère or fontina.
  • Don't overcook the casserole. The casserole is done when the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crab meat is cooked through. Overcooking the casserole will make the crab meat tough.
  • Serve the casserole immediately. This casserole is best served hot out of the oven. You can garnish it with fresh parsley or chives.

Conclusion

Crab broccoli casserole is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight dinner. It is also a great way to use up leftover crab meat. With its creamy cheese sauce, tender crab meat, and crunchy broccoli, this casserole is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
