Tips:

  • Use softened cream cheese: Bring the cream cheese to room temperature before starting the recipe. This will make it easier to mix and will help ensure that the cookies are smooth and creamy.
  • Chill the dough before baking: Chilling the dough helps prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven. It can also help the cookies hold their shape better.
  • Use a cookie press: A cookie press makes it easy to create evenly shaped cookies. If you don't have a cookie press, you can use a spoon or a fork to drop the dough onto the baking sheet.
  • Roll the cookies in sugar: Before baking, roll the cookies in sugar. This will give them a sweet, crunchy coating.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set: The cookies should be slightly golden brown around the edges and set in the center. Do not overbake, or the cookies will become dry and crumbly.

Conclusion:

Cream cheese cookies made with a cookie press are a delicious and easy-to-make treat. They are perfect for any occasion, from holiday parties to bake sales. With a few simple ingredients and a little time, you can create delicious and professional-looking cookies that everyone will love.
