6 cloves garlic, crushed
3 tablespoons ginger
1 red chili
3 tablespoons honey
½ cup soy sauce
sesame seed
spring onion

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the garlic, ginger, chili, honey, and soy sauce.
  • Mix in the chicken drumsticks.

1/4 cup Chinese barbecue sauce (char sui)
1/4 cup honey
3 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, peeled and finey cop
12 chicken drumsticks
2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

  • Mix all ingredients, except sesame seeds, together and pour into a large resealable storage bag, with chicken, to marinate. Refrigerate at least one hour, but overnight is preferable.
  • Position an oven rack 8 to 10 inches from broiler and preheat broiler. Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with heavy duty foil.
