Tips for Making the Perfect Deviled Ham and Pecan Tea Sandwiches:

- Use high-quality ingredients. Look for fresh, flavorful ham, and creamy, tangy mayonnaise. Freshly ground black pepper will also add a nice touch of spice. - Don't overmix the filling. You want it to be light and fluffy, so just mix until the ingredients are combined. - Use a variety of breads. You can use white bread, wheat bread, or even rye bread for these sandwiches. Just make sure the bread is fresh and soft. - Serve the sandwiches immediately. They are best when they are fresh, so don't make them too far ahead of time. - Get creative with your fillings. In this recipe, pickled okra and chow chow are used, but you can also use things like chopped pickles, celery, or onions.

Conclusion:

Deviled ham and pecan tea sandwiches are a classic Southern treat that are perfect for any occasion. They are easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser. Next time you are looking for a quick and delicious snack or lunch, give this recipe a try. You won't be disappointed!
