1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1/2 cup butter, softened

  • Prepare brownie mix according to package directions for fudge-like brownies. Spread batter in a greased and floured 9-in. round baking pan. , Bake at 350° for 38-42 minutes or until center springs back when lightly touched. Cool for 10 minutes. Invert onto a serving plate; cool completely. , In a bowl, stir the chocolate and butter until smooth. Spread over brownie layer; refrigerate for 30 minutes. 1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons raspberry liqueur or raspberry syrup
6 eggs
1 bag (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips (1 cup), melted, cooled
1/2 cup plus 1 tablespoon Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
2 packages (12 oz each) frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
4 oz white chocolate baking bars (from 6-oz package), melted, cooled
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
2 oz white chocolate baking bars (from 6-oz package), melted, cooled
Hot fudge sauce or topping, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Grease bottoms and sides of two 8-inch round cake pans; sprinkle with cocoa. In small bowl, beat granulated sugar and 1 cup butter with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Beat in liqueur, eggs and melted semisweet chocolate. Stir in flour. Pour into pans.
  • Bake about 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely.
  • Place raspberries in blender or food processor. Cover and blend on high speed, stopping blender occasionally to scrape sides, until almost smooth; strain.
  • To make filling, in small bowl, beat 1/2 cup butter and the powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in 4 ounces white chocolate and the vanilla until smooth.
  • Place 1 cake layer on serving plate; spread with filling. Make about 1/4-inch deep ring in filling 1 inch from edge of cake, using tip of spoon. Make another 1/4-inch-deep ring 1 inch inside outer ring. Fill each ring with about 5 tablespoons raspberry puree. Place second cake layer on filling. Drizzle melted white chocolate over top of cake.
  • Refrigerate uncovered about 10 minutes or until white chocolate is set. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 3 hours until filling is firm. Serve with remaining raspberry puree and fudge sauce. Store in refrigerator.

2 packages (8 oz each) semisweet baking chocolate, coarsely chopped
1 cup butter or margarine
6 eggs
8 oz white chocolate baking squares, coarsely chopped (about 1 1/2 cups)
1 1/2 cups whipping cream
4 oz cream cheese (from 8-oz package), softened
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons amaretto

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 400°F. Spray 9-inch springform pan with cooking spray. In 3-quart saucepan, melt semisweet chocolate and butter over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth. Cool 30 minutes.
  • In medium bowl, beat eggs with electric mixer on high speed about 5 minutes or until about triple in volume. Using rubber spatula, fold eggs into cooled chocolate mixture. Pour into springform pan.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edge is set but center is still soft and jiggles slightly when moved. Cool completely in pan, about 1 hour 30 minutes. Then cover and refrigerate 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • In medium microwavable bowl, place white chocolate and 2 tablespoons of the whipping cream. Microwave uncovered on High 20 to 40 seconds, stirring after 20 seconds, until chocolate is melted. Stir until well blended. In medium bowl, beat cream cheese on medium speed until smooth. Gradually beat in white chocolate mixture until smooth. Add 1 cup of the pie filling; beat on medium speed until well blended and cherries are broken up.
  • In chilled medium bowl, beat remaining whipping cream and almond extract on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold in cherry-chocolate mixture until well blended. Spread over semisweet chocolate layer. Refrigerate at least 2 hours but no longer than 48 hours.
  • In small bowl, stir remaining pie filling and liqueur until well blended. Remove side of pan. Cut torte into wedges; place on individual dessert plates. Top individual servings with cherry sauce.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Line bottom of 9-inch springform pan with cooking parchment paper.
  • In medium bowl, pour boiling water over kasha, chocolate chips and butter; let stand 15 minutes.

4 ounces bittersweet chocolate or 4 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
7 ounces milk chocolate, chopped, divided
3/4 cup salted butter
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375°F Butter a 10-inch springform pan and line with a round of parchment paper.
  • Melt bittersweet chocolate with 2 oz milk chocolate and the butter in a large, heavy saucepan set over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat; whisk in sugar and salt, followed by eggs and vanilla. Sift cocoa powder over chocolate mixture, stir until combined.

Steps:

  • For cake: Preheat oven to 325°F. Butter 10-inch-diameter springform pan; dust with sugar. Melt chocolate and butter in heavy large saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm. Whisk in sugar. Whisk in eggs 1 at a time, blending well after each addition. Mix in vanilla and salt, then flour. Pour batter into pan. 2 teaspoons almond extract
6 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup bittersweet chocolate chips, 4 oz
toasted sliced almonds

  • Preheat oven to 325. Coat a 9 x 2 inch round cake pan with cooking spray. Line with parchment paper cut to fit into bottom of pan; coat with nonstick spray.
  • Bring water and sugar for the torte to a boil in a pan to dissolve sugar; remove from heat. Add butter, 1 bag of chocolate chips, espresso powder, and salt. Let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Whisk in liqueur and almond extract.
  • Whisk eggs until whites and yolks are mixed, then whisk into chocolate mixture.

2 (8 ounce) packages semi-sweet chocolate squares, coarsely chopped
½ cup butter
5 large eggs, separated
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¼ cup white sugar
¼ cup chocolate chips
¼ cup crushed almonds
1 teaspoon confectioners' sugar for dusting, or as needed
½ teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting, or as needed

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan and dust with 1/2 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder.
  • Melt chopped chocolate squares and butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth, 5 to 10 minutes.

1 pkg. (2-layer size) chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
1/2 cup strawberry jam
1-1/2 cups sliced strawberries
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
1-1/2 tsp. powdered sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease two 9-inch round baking pans. Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Stir in chocolate. Pour evenly into prepared pans.
  • Bake 30 to 35 min. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire rack 10 min. Loosen cakes from sides of pans. Invert cakes onto racks; gently remove pans. Cool cakes completely.
  • Cut cakes horizontally in half with serrated knife. Place one of the bottom cake layers on serving plate; spread with about 2 Tbsp. of the jam. Top with layers of 1/2 cup of the strawberries and 1 cup of the whipped topping. Repeat layers two times. Top with remaining cake layer. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in refrigerator.

6 cups sugar, divided
1-1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter or margarine, divided
2 small cans (5 oz. each) evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup each)
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 jars (7 oz. each) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme, divided
2 cups chopped PLANTERS Dry Roasted Peanuts, divided
2 tsp. vanilla, divided
3 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Steps:

  • Line 13x9-inch pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides of pan. Place 3 cups of the sugar, 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) of the butter and 1 can of the evaporated milk in heavy 3-qt. saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
  • Add peanut butter and contents of one of the marshmallow creme jars; stir until completely melted. Add 1 cup of the peanuts and 1 tsp. of the vanilla; mix well. Pour immediately into prepared pan; spread to evenly cover bottom of pan. Set aside.
  • Place remaining 3 cups sugar, the remaining 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter and the remaining can of evaporated milk in large heavy saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat.
  • Add chocolate and remaining jar of marshmallow creme; stir until completely melted. Add 1/2 cup of the remaining peanuts and the remaining 1 tsp. vanilla; mix well. Pour immediately over peanut butter fudge layer in pan. Spread to evenly cover peanut butter fudge; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup peanuts. Cool at room temperature at least 4 hours before cutting into small pieces to serve. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
