SPINACH 'N ONIONS

Nice way to serve spinach and so good for you! The secret is not to overcook the spinach. I like to add a few roasted pine nuts or pumkin seeds with a nice jolt of Marsala wine. I love to serve this recipe with recipe#399309. Just spoon the sauce over the spinach when it is on the plate MMMmm

### Key Takeaway for Double Crème Brûlée with Onions: ### 1. Use High-quality Ingredients: - Use only fresh, high-quality cream and milk. - Opt for free-range eggs to ensure the best possible taste and texture. - Employ real vanilla seeds or a high-quality vanilla pod for a rich, nuanced vanilla aroma. ### 2. Cook the Crème Brûlée Low and Slow: - For a smooth, creamy custard base, cook the crème brûlée at a low temperature (325°F) for an extended period (about 45 minutes). - This slow and gentle cooking method prevents curdling and ensures even cooking throughout. ### 3. Chill the Crème Brûlée Thoroughly: - To achieve the perfect texture, chill the crème brûlée for at least 4 hours, or preferably, refrigerate it for up to 2 days. - Chilling allows the flavors to meld and the custard to set properly, resulting in a smooth, creamy, and satisfying eating experience. ### 4. Use Caramelizing Torch Correctly: - Ensure the caramelizing torch is at least 2 inches away from the surface of the crème brûlée. - Move the torch in a constant, even motion to avoid hot or burnt patches. - Keep an eye on the sugar as it caramelizes, and remove the torch once the desired level of carametization is achieved. ### 5. Serve the Crème Brûlée Immediately: - Serve the crème brûlée as soon as possible after caramelizing the sugar. - The combination of the cold custard base and the warm, crisp sugar crust offers an exquisite contrast in temperature and textures. ### 6. Embellish and Garnish Elegantly: - Feel free to garnish the crème brûlée with fresh berries, powdered sugar, or a sprinkle of cinnamon for an extra touch of elegance and visual appeal. ### 7. Store Properly for Future Indulgence: - Store the crème brûlée in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, making it an ideal dessert to prepare in advance for special gatherings or spontaneous cravings. ### 8. Savor the Culinary Delight: - Take your time relishing each spoonful of the double crème brûlée with onions. - Appreciate the harmonious interplay of flavors, textures, and aromas that make this dessert truly special.
