ROASTED GARLIC AND PARMESAN SPREAD

Roasted Garlic and Parmesan Spread image

This is an awesome and simple bread spread to use in place of butter or garlic butter. Use light mayonnaise if you want fewer calories. The prep time is almost nothing if you have roasted garlic in the fridge from a previous meal. Spread thinly on bread before toasting in the oven or serve in a bowl for guests to apply to their own bread.

DREWS GARLIC PARMESAN CRAZY SPREAD

This is the Little Caesars spread they use on their crazy bread. The recipe is on top secret recipes, but I've been making it for Drew for years. I put parmesan cheese in the butter mix and then also add on top at the end, but you can do it either way.

Time 25m

Yield 10

Number Of Ingredients 10

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Tips:

  • Opt for fresh garlic over garlic powder. Fresh garlic adds a more robust and flavorful taste to the spread.
  • Use good quality freshly grated Parmesan cheese. It melts better and tastes superior to pre-grated or powdered Parmesan.
  • For a creamier spread, use softened butter. Allow the butter to come to room temperature before mixing it with the other ingredients.
  • If you prefer a thicker spread, add more grated Parmesan cheese or bread crumbs until you reach the desired consistency.
  • For a tangy twist, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a teaspoon of white wine vinegar to the spread.
  • If you don't have fresh parsley, use a teaspoon of dried parsley flakes instead.

Conclusion:

Drew's Garlic Parmesan Crazy Spread is a versatile and delicious spread that can be used in various ways. It's a perfect dip for vegetables, crackers, or bread. It can also be used as a sandwich spread or as a topping for grilled chicken or fish. With its bold garlic and Parmesan flavor, this spread is sure to be a hit at your next party or gathering.
