Tips:

  • Choose ripe, yet firm apricots: Overly ripe apricots will be too soft and mushy, while unripe apricots will be too tart and lack flavor.
  • Use a sharp knife to halve and pit the apricots: This will help to prevent the apricots from tearing.
  • Remove the pits carefully: You don't want to leave any bits of pit in the apricots, as this can be a choking hazard.
  • Toss the apricots with sugar and lemon juice: This will help to enhance their flavor and prevent them from browning.
  • Bake the apricots at a moderate temperature: This will help to prevent them from burning.
  • Keep an eye on the apricots while they are baking: You don't want to overcook them, as this will make them tough.
  • Let the apricots cool slightly before serving: This will make them easier to handle and eat.

Conclusion:

Baked apricots are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are also a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, vitamin C, and potassium.
