LASAGNA CASSEROLE
While growing up, this was the meal I always wanted on my birthday. Mother made the sauce from scratch, but I use store-bought spaghetti sauce to save time. Replace the ground beef with Italian sausage if you want more spice. -Deb Morrison, Skiatook, Oklahoma

Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses. This will give your lasagna a more complex flavor. Some good options include mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, and asiago.
- Don't overcook the noodles. They should be al dente, or slightly firm to the bite. Otherwise, they will become mushy in the lasagna.
- Make sure the sauce is thick enough. If it's too thin, it will make the lasagna watery.
- Don't skimp on the layers. The more layers you have, the more flavorful the lasagna will be.
- Bake the lasagna until it is bubbly and golden brown. This will ensure that it is cooked through.
- Let the lasagna rest for at least 15 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld and the lasagna to set.
Conclusion:
Spaghetti lasagna is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a weeknight meal or a special occasion. With a few simple tips, you can make sure that your spaghetti lasagna turns out perfect every time. So next time you're looking for a hearty and satisfying meal, give spaghetti lasagna a try!
