1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2-1/2 cups creamy peanut butter, divided
1 large egg
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
6 tablespoons butter, softened
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup baking cocoa
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 to 8 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 cup peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Combine oats, flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture, beating well after each addition. , Spread into a greased 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 13-17 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly on a wire rack, about 12 minutes. Spread with remaining peanut butter. 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped nuts (I like pecans)
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon butter, softened
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

Steps:

  • CRUST:.
  • For the crust, mix together the butter, flour, and brown sugar.
  • Pat mixture into a 7 x 11 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees about 15 minutes or until slightly brown.
