Tips:

  • Use real maple syrup for the best flavor. Imitation maple syrup will not provide the same depth of flavor and may make your cookies taste bland.
  • Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. This will help to incorporate air into the dough, making your cookies light and airy.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. This will help to prevent the cookies from spreading too much in the oven.
  • Bake the cookies at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to brown. Overbaking will make your cookies dry and crumbly.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them. This will help to prevent the frosting from melting and running off the cookies.
  • Store the frosted cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

Frosted maple cookies are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With their soft and chewy texture, sweet maple flavor, and creamy frosting, these cookies are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them. So next time you're looking for a sweet treat, give these frosted maple cookies a try. You won't be disappointed!
