1/2 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup minced onion
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
6 pork chops (each 1-inch thick)

Tips:

  • To ensure the pork chops are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit (63 degrees Celsius).
  • Allow the pork chops to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful chop.
  • For a smokier flavor, grill the pork chops over indirect heat. This means placing the pork chops on one side of the grill and the coals or heat source on the other side.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the pork chops in a grill pan over medium heat. Just be sure to preheat the grill pan before adding the pork chops.
