Simply dab the cut fruit with some olive oil and place on a hot grill until lightly toasted and soft. The result is reminiscent of peach pie without the crust, warm and yielding, with just a hint of char.

Tips:

  • Choose ripe, firm peaches for grilling. Unripe peaches will not soften properly, and overripe peaches will become mushy.
  • If you don't have a grill, you can also cook the peaches in a grill pan over medium heat.
  • Keep an eye on the peaches while they are grilling. They can burn easily, so be sure to flip them regularly.
  • Once the peaches are grilled, let them cool slightly before serving. This will help to prevent the juices from running out.
  • Serve the grilled peaches with your favorite toppings. Some popular options include dukkah, blueberries, honey, and ice cream.

Conclusion:

Grilled peaches are a delicious and versatile summer treat. They can be enjoyed on their own, or used in a variety of desserts and dishes. With their sweet and smoky flavor, grilled peaches are sure to please everyone at your next barbecue or potluck.
